Wow, over 6 months since my last post. I'll try to do better - maybe.
Anywho, on a recent backpacking trip to Meadow Lake, I discovered that I like sardines. They are a good source of protein and Omega 3's, and they taste great. In shopping for sardines I have discovered that there are basically two companies distributing them (at least at the Safeway near my home) - Bumblebee and Chicken of the Sea. Chicken of the Sea is sold under its own brand name, and Bumblebee is sold under several different brand names. So far, my sardines have come from 3 places - Norway, Canada, and Thailand. Thailand? Really? Yes, Thailand. I was surprised, too. I guess that's it for now.
There's something fishy in all this...
